It is located in the village of Andenes on the island of Andøya. The church is part of the Andenes parish in the Vesterålen deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The white wooden church was built in 1876 and it seats about 400 people. ==History== The first church in Andenes was built in 1734, and that church lasted for almost 150 years.
